Mujeres Con Esperanza/Women With Hope- Contra Costa County

Our Contra Costa County Program has a heavy emphasis on outreach and engagement and prosocial activities for women who are pregnant and/or parenting children up to 17 years old. Women in this program must identify an issue with substance use/abuse for themselves. In both the Richmond and Concord communities we seek to engage individuals that are not able to easily access current community based services. Our Navigators will connect women with appropriate SUD services currently offered in the community, if they are primary spanish speakers we provide their SUD treatment. Women enrolled in our SUD services will engage in supportive group and individual counseling, crisis intervention,  parent skill building, trauma informed groups that help set healthy boundaries and other social activities that will increase their coping skills and decrease their substance use. Any woman living in Contra Costa County who is struggling with substance use is eligible to receive services in the Mujeres Con Esperanza/Women With Hope program.

Services are available in both Spanish and English.
