This list represents the best available information at the time it was written, it is always possible for various factors to change.

Please note that while we aim to place trainees in their top choice program within any particular track, we cannot guarantee any particular placement to any trainee.

 


 

ADULT SERVICES TRACK

 

SPANISH LANGUAGE ACCESS (ACCESS)

PROGRAM SUMMARY: Crisis stabilization and psychotherapy for adults with moderate to severe mental health diagnoses up to 6 months; includes collaboration with psychiatrists who provide medication management. (Medi-Cal)

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS: Spanish-speaking REQUIRED

RE-ENTRY TREATMENT TEAM (RTT)

PROGRAM SUMMARY: Short and long-term psychotherapy, referral, and psychoeducation for adults who are recently released from corrections custody. 

TREATMENT MODALITIES USED: Individual

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS: Spanish-speaking Preferred

SERVICE LOCATION: 24601 Mocine Ave Hayward, CA

CHILD ABUSE PREVENTION, INTERVENTION, AND TREATMENT (CAPIT)

PROGRAM SUMMARY: Short and long-term assessment and psychotherapy for residents in the Les Marquis emergency family shelter or Banyan House transitional housing program (programs under the Family Emergency Shelter Coalition [FESCO].

TREATMENT MODALITIES USED: Family, individual, group

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS: Spanish-speaking Preferred

WORKING WELLNESS

PROGRAM SUMMARY: Cal Works funded program supporting adults with children to find meaningful employment, includes collaborative work with case managers.

CHILD AND FAMILY TRACK

 

CHILDREN’S OUTPATIENT CLINIC (0-21)

PROGRAM SUMMARY: Short and long-term psychotherapy for children ages 0-21 and their families. (Medi-Cal)

TREATMENT MODALITIES USED: Family, individual

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS: Spanish-speaking REQUIRED

SERVICE LOCATION: 24301 Southland Drive Suite 300 Hayward, CA

SCHOOL BASED BEHAVIORAL HEALTH (SBBH)

PROGRAM SUMMARY: Short and long-term school based psychotherapy for children. (Medi-Cal)

TREATMENT MODALITIES USED: Individual, group

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS: Spanish-speaking REQUIRED

SERVICE LOCATION: Various public schools throughout Alameda County – likely cities include Oakland, Hayward, and Union City. Co-located with full time staff member.

RECOVERY AND WELLNESS TRACK

 

ADULT SERVICES

PROGRAM SUMMARY: Short and long-term inpatient and outpatient substance abuse treatment for adult men and women. (Medi-Cal)

TREATMENT MODALITIES USED: Individual, group

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS: Spanish-speaking Preferred

SERVICE LOCATION: 1315 Fruitvale Ave Oakland, CA and/or 425 Vernon Street Oakland, CA

ADOLESCENT SERVICES (PROYECTO PRIMAVERA)

PROGRAM SUMMARY: Short and long-term school-based substance abuse treatment for adolescents. (Medi-Cal)

TREATMENT MODALITIES USED: Individual, group

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS: Spanish-speaking Preferred

SERVICE LOCATION: Various school sites, primarily in Oakland

NUMBER OF SPOTS AVAILABLE: 2
