Caitlin Finnell, LMFT

Chief Clinical Officer

Caitlin comes to us with a wide array of experience. Since college she has been committed to community health starting as a peer advocate for LGBT students. After college she worked in several residential houses for youth, both in Colorado where she went to school and later for Fred Finch Youth Center here in Califorina. She also worked for the Tenderloin Housing Clinic as a Clinical Case Manager, serving dual diagnosis adults. It was while working here, when she decided that it was time to go back to school to pursue her masters in psychology. During her master’s program, she worked at EBAC in their Therapeutic Nursery School. After graduating, Caitlin went back to the Tenderloin to work with La Casa De Las Madres where she obtained her MFT licensure hours. Once licensed, she went to work for several years as a psychiatric inpatient unit therapist for Willow Rock Center. Most recently, Caitlin comes to us from Tiburcio Vasquez Health Center, where she worked in several capacities over the years, starting as the School Based Clinical Supervisor, then becoming the Assistant Director of the Behavioral Health Department and eventually served as the Director. She is very excited to be joining La Familia and bringing her continued commitment to service along with her.
